Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format. Kindly ensure that you use TEMPLATE as provided on the home page for article formatting.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • submit the article only in the recommended format. Download the template from the home page before submitting the article, and ensure that it is edited properly!

Author Guidelines

For formatting your article, use or download the template from the home page of the journal!

The following are the author's guidelines for submitting an article to the EIKI Journal of Effective Teaching Methods (EIKI JETM), an open-access journal.

  1. Eligibility

Articles may be submitted by any researcher or academic, regardless of their institutional affiliation or country of residence.

  1. Types of Articles

EIKI JETM accepts original research articles, review articles, case studies, and short communications. The journal is interdisciplinary, and articles from any field are welcome.

  1. Article Preparation
  • Articles should be written in English and be between [insert word count range].
  • Articles should be prepared in accordance with the journal's style guidelines, which can be found on the journal's website.
  • Articles should include an abstract (between [insert word count range]) and keywords.
  • All references should be formatted in accordance with [insert citation style].
  • All figures and tables should be included in the manuscript file, not as separate files.
  • Authors should also include a cover letter with their submission, including a brief statement of the significance of the work and any potential competing interests.
  1. Submission Process
  • Articles should be submitted through the journal's online submission system, which can be found on the journal's website.
  • Upon submission, authors will be asked to certify that their article is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • After submission, authors will be notified of the status of their article (e.g. accepted, rejected, or revisions required) within [insert time frame].
  1. Peer Review

All articles submitted to EIKI JETM will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

  1. Open Access Policy

EIKI JETM is an open-access journal, and all articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This means that the articles are freely available to read, download, and share, with proper attribution to the authors and the journal.

  1. Ethical Considerations
  • Authors should ensure that their research has been conducted ethically and that any necessary permissions have been obtained.
  • Authors should disclose any conflicts of interest in their cover letter.
  • If necessary, authors should obtain informed consent from participants in their research.

The authors of articles published in EIKI JETM retain copyright over their work. By submitting an article for publication, the authors grant EIKI JETM and its publisher the right to publish and distribute the article under the CC BY license.

Under the CC BY license, users are free to share (copy, distribute, and transmit) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon) the article for any purpose, even commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given to the original authors and EIKI JETM.

  • The title of the article
  • The authors of the article
  • The name of EIKI JETM
  • The DOI of the article

  1. Waiver

Authors may waive all or part of their moral rights under the CC BY license. If they do so, they must indicate this on the copyright transfer agreement.
