Ethical Statement of the Journal of Effective Teaching Methods (JETM)
1. Research Conduct
Journal of Effective Teaching Methods expects authors to conduct their research in accordance with the highest ethical standards and to comply with all relevant laws and regulations. This includes:
- Informed Consent: Obtaining informed consent from participants.
- Privacy and Confidentiality: Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of participants.
- Non-Harmful Research: Ensuring that the research does not cause harm to participants.
2. Plagiarism and Duplicate Submission
Journal of Effective Teaching Methods will not accept articles that contain plagiarized content or have been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Plagiarism and duplicate submissions are serious breaches of ethical conduct and will result in rejection or retraction of the article.

3. Data Fabrication and Falsification
Journal of Effective Teaching Methods will not accept articles that contain fabricated or falsified data. This is a serious breach of ethical conduct and can lead to retraction of published articles.
4. Conflicts of Interest
Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial, personal, or professional relationships, in their cover letter when submitting an article. JETM reserves the right to reject articles or request revisions if conflicts of interest are not appropriately disclosed.
6. Complaints and Appeals
JETM takes all complaints and appeals seriously. Complaints and appeals will be handled in accordance with COPE guidelines.

- Appeals Process: Authors have the right to appeal editorial decisions.
7. Allegations of Research Misconduct
JETM handles allegations of research misconduct in accordance with COPE guidelines. This includes plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication.

- Actions: Appropriate actions, including retraction, will be taken if misconduct is confirmed.
8. Data Sharing and Reproducibility
JETM encourages data sharing and reproducibility. Authors should make their data available for verification and reuse.
- Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to deposit their data in publicly accessible repositories.
- Reproducibility: Authors should ensure that their methods and findings can be reproduced by others.
